"I have held off writing a review for Julia trying to find the words the encompass how incredible of an agent she was for us. We got notice of our landlords evicting us in February 2023 and it came as a shock. We hadn’t planned to move and in that mom… ent we were panicked. We decided we would try to look to buy rather than renting again. As first time homebuyers, we wanted to make sure we were working with someone who understood both our wants for a beautiful home and need to keep it within a budget. We both had parents who had bought homes over 20 years ago, and knew no one else who had purchased, so were in need of some serious guidance. A friend referred us to Julia and I am so thankful she did. From our first call, Julia’s expert knowledge and calm demeanour made us feel like we could do this. She walked us through the market and the entire home buying process including details of the finances. We were buying about 2 hours away from where we were living. Julia didn’t flinch and made the drive (3 hours for her!) multiple weekends and took us to see as many houses as we wanted. She gave us tons of information on each house, answered all our questions and gave us her opinion when we asked (which we did often). After a few big drives (in snow storms no less) we finally found a home we loved. Julia sprung into action, and negotiated an exceptional deal for us. She dealt with our banker and set up an inspection for us. Julia even went so far as to call trades people to get estimates for work that would have to be done so that we could make a fully informed decision. I truly couldn’t believe the amount of work Julia put in to ensure we were in our dream home. The home we purchased had a basement apartment and we wanted to rent it out. We turned to Julia to help us and once again she over delivered. She guided us through every step of the process, had showings set up almost every day, and ended up landing us a tenant that fit exactly what we were looking for.
